Faith West Academy

Faith West Academy is an interdenominational, coeducational Christian private school of grades preschool-12,[1] located in unincorporated Harris County, Texas, near Katy.[2][3] The school first began in 1982.[1]

With 543 students and an annual budget of over $3 million, it was one of the ten largest private schools in the greater Houston area in 2001.[4] As of 2010 the school has over 600 students.[1]

Alumni include the former Solicitor General of Texas, Ted Cruz. He was the first Hispanic to hold the office.
